High Table Ltd successfully tendered for the refurbishment of the public catering outlets and the staff dining facilities in this world famous Grade I listed building. As well as providing excellent catering facilities, they wished to create a showcase facility as the first development to be operated by Eliance, their newly formed public catering company.

Working to designs prepared by Ferro Design, ALA was contracted to negotiate with English Heritage and the Museum to obtain all the necessary consents. ALA then managed the refurbishment of the catering outlets, allowing the facilities to be reopened with minimum down time. The work was scheduled to maintain adequate catering facilities open at peak periods in order to service customer demands.

The facilities were reopened within 2 months of Eliance taking over the catering contract with outstanding low priority works deferred to quieter trading periods
