To coincide with the 100th Anniversary celebrations of London's Wallace Collection, an impressive Lottery funded renovation programme has been launched, using the internationally renown Rick Mather Architects. The programme includes the addition of a much-needed catering facility, The Bagatelle Café. Eliance, the UK retail catering arm of Elior plc, won the catering contract for the café.

ALA was contracted by Eliance to review the proposals, confirm the budget and programme, and then to manage the project through to completion. Success of the project depended not only on meeting the strict deadlines and budgets imposed, but also on ensuring that the work on the café did not disrupt the work of the main contractor, or of the normal running of the gallery.

The facilities were duly completed on time for the Centenary celebrations, allowing time for staff training and run-throughs prior to opening to the public.
